Burke Health

Burke Health is a physician-led, patient-focused community hospital specializing in orthopedic care. Emergency Management

Burke County Emergency Management Agency has 12 stations across the county that serve the area’s residents. Each station has cross-trained employees. Employees are either a firefighter/paramedic or a firefighter/emergency medical technician. The cross-training allows each station to cover both fire services and emergency medical services in their territory.

Dedicated to the protection of life and property, Burke County Emergency Management Agency provides emergency medical services, fire/rescue, 911, and emergency management services to Burke County.

In the unlikely event of a disaster, Burke County operates an Emergency Management Agency (EMA) with 120 firefighters, emergency medical technicians, and even a dive team, always ready to provide skilled, caring assistance to the people of our community.
